William Marshall Cooper, II, age 80 of Dublin, Ohio, formerly of Brown County, Ohio, Centerville, Ohio and Boston, Massachusetts died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He was a graduate of the last class at Higginsport High School in 1952, a United States Army Veteran and attended the United States Guided Missile School in 1958, a 1963 graduate of the Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering and received his Masters Degree from Northeastern University in Massachusetts in 1969. William received a Presidential Award for his contribution to the Apollo XI Space project in 1969 which landed the first man on the moon.
