William R. Gray

William R. Gray, age 85 of Ripley, Ohio, died Saturday, May 21 2011 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was retired from Kroger. Mr. Gray was a United States Army World War II Veteran, a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church in Ripley and a member of the Masonic Lodge in Ripley. He was born August 12, 1925 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Albert Lee and Lenora Mae (Reeder) Gray. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Lloyd Gray.
Mr. Gray is survived by his wife, Myrle Gray; one son, David Gray and wife Linda of Ripley, Ohio; two grandsons - Clark Gray and wife Angela of Ripley and Cary Gray of Ripley; three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley, Ohio. Rev. James Settles will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Courts-Fussnecker American Legion Post #367 of Ripley, Ohio.
