William Field Martin

William Field Martin, age 87 of Ripley, Ohio died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at his residence. He was a farmer and former director and President of the Ripley National Bank in Ripley, Ohio. Mr. Martin was born January 19, 1925 in Ripley, Ohio the son of the late Elmer T. and Lyda Florence (Richey) Martin. He was also preceded in death by his wife - Patricia Catherine (Theis) Martin and one sister - Kathryn Martin Jockers.
Mr. Martin is survived by two sons - John W. Martin and wife Brenda of Georgetown, Ohio and James R. Martin and wife - Cristina of Princeton, Kentucky, two grandchildren - Amy Martin Noonan and husband Jeff of Austin, Texas and Tyson G. Martin and wife Amy of Eddyville, Kentucky and two great grandchildren - Averi Noel Noonan and Garrett Martin Noonan.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family Friday, May 18, 2012. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd., Mt.Orab, Ohio 45154.
