William Edward Robinson

William Edward Robinson, age 76 of Hamersville, Ohio died Friday, April 18, 2008 at the Brown County General Hospital in Georgetown, Ohio. Mr. Robinson worked at Imperial Adhesives in maintenance. He was a Korean War Marine veteran, a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180, the F.O.E. Lodge #2293 and Quail Forever. Mr. Robinson was born on September 3, 1931 in Georgetown, Ohio the son of the late Walter W. and Thelma Orlena (Shafer) Robinson. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Grace (Martin) Robinson, who he married on July 16, 1953; one daughter,  Rita Kay Robinson; one son,  Edward Gene Robinson; one grandson, Jonathan Lindsey and one sister, Garnett Ruth Robinson.

Mr. Robinson is survived by three children - Vicki Lynn Huff and husband Roger of Wilmington, Ohio; Marcia Ann Gillman of Athens, Alabama and Charles Walter Robinson and wife Mista Lynn of Georgetown, Ohio; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, April 22, 2008 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Rev. Charles Smith, Rev. Ted House and Chaplain William Graybill will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery with veteran services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180.
