William J. Rooney, Jr., age 86 of Georgetown, Ohio formerly of Mt.Adams, Ohio died Sunday, May 25, 2014 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a retired District Health Officer for the City of Cincinnati Health Department and a United States Navy Veteran. William was born November 26, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late William J. and Anna Marie (Hinderburger) Rooney, Sr.. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister.
