William Lee Whisman

William Lee Whisman, age 68 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, August 31, 2025 at his residence. Mr. Whisman was a carpenter and worked at PJ Trailer in Mt. Orab, Ohio. He loved to use his skillful carpentry ability after working hours and liked to refurbish old tractors. William was born May 27, 1957 in Maysville, Kentucky the son of the late George Junior and Dorthy Jenette (McKenzie) Whisman. He was also preceded in death by one brother – David Whisman.

Mr. Whisman is survived by his wife of twenty-seven years – Teresa (Ernst) Whisman, whom he married April 4, 1998; four daughters – Nicole Collins and husband Travis of Florence, Kentucky, Crystal Morgan of Ripley, Ohio, Vanessa Watson of Georgetown, Ohio and Deanna Watson and husband Taz Keating of Amelia, Ohio ;three grandchildren – Zoey Collins, Adrianna Morgan and Bryson Morgan; three sisters – Connie Sebree and husband Stanley of Georgetown, Ohio, June Wilcox of Mason, Ohio and Jean Frazier and husband Elmer of Georgetown, Ohio; three brothers – Tom Whisman and wife Debbie of Hamersville, Ohio, Dennis Whisman and wife Kim of Mt. Orab, Ohio and Ronald Whisman of Texas and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Monday, September 8, 2025 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Monday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
