Betty L. (Green) Lewis

Betty Lou Lewis, age 76 of Gainesville, Georgia and formerly of Bethel, Ohio passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 surrounded by her family. She will be remembered for her warm smile, her made-from-scratch brownies, her afghans and sewing skills and most of all her nurturing nature.  As the oldest of 12, Betty was a natural caretaker to those around her. She was born August 9, 1945 in Cincinnati, Ohio the daughter of the late Odell and Ann (Terry) Green. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband - Donnie Lewis and four brothers -  Donnie Green, Kenny Green, David Green and Stephen Green.

Mrs. Lewis is survived by her children - Angie Smith and husband Troy and Donnie Lewis; five grandchildren - Kane McKinzie, Donnie Lewis III, Carter Dillinger, Mia Dillinger and Annabelle Smith and seven brothers and sisters -  Kathy Tolin, Vernon Green, Jerry Green, Terry Green, Cindy Gray, Richard Green and Rena Prall.  She will also be dearly missed by her friends made in recent years who became like family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 11:30 A.M. - 12:30 P.M. Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Williamsburg Cemetery in Williamsburg, Ohio. The funeral service will be available for live streaming on the Cahall Funeral Home Facebook page.

The Lewis family has requested that those in attendance at the funeral home must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and mask will be required at all times.
