Charles T Meadows

Charles Thomas Meadows, Jr., age 80 of Ripley, Ohio, died Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at the Ohio Valley Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center near Ripley.  He was retired from the former U.S. Shoe Factory in Ripley.  He was also a farmer, an avid hunter and a member of the Ripley Church of Christ.  Mr. Meadows was born January 17, 1935 in Higginsport, Ohio the son of the late Dudley and Rose “Bruist” Meadows.  He was also preceded in death by his wife – Helen (Gill) Meadows.

Mr. Meadows is survived by three daughters – Dorothy Miller of Ripley, Ohio, Margaret Hauke of Ripley, Ohio and Norma Elston of Lawrence, Kansas; one son – Don Burton of Milford, Ohio; ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Monday, January 4, 2015 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.  John Neu will officiate.  Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. on Monday.  Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery in Ripley.
