Christa Lee (Goins) Bauer

Christa Lee Bauer, age 49 of Sardinia, Ohio died Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her family after a 13 year battle with breast cancer. She was a cosmetologist and a volunteer for Camp Dove Tail and the Girl Scouts. Christa was born June 15, 1969 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Thomas and Alice Sue (Tabor) Goins of Winchester, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law – Sallie Bauer and one brother-in-law – Daniel Bauer.

Mrs. Bauer is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Thomas P. Bauer whom she married October 8, 1994; three children whom she installed a warrior spirt and love for people – Hannah, Leah and Daniel Bauer all of Sardinia, Ohio; two sisters – Erica Scott and husband Keith of Winchester, Ohio and Anna Waits and husband Jayson of Marshall, Ohio; father-in-law – Keith Bauer and wife Carol of Georgetown, Ohio; six brothers and sisters-in-law – David Bauer and wife Angela of Jacksonville, Illinois, Angie Thuma and husband Rich of Springfield, Illinois, Peter Bauer of Georgetown, Ohio, Erin Scranton and husband Mark of Bethel, Ohio, Jason Watson and wife Pam of Higginsport, Ohio and Missy Plank and Matt Ranes of Georgetown, Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 P.M. Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
