Deborah Harbottle Obituary

Deborah Lynn (Mingua) Harbottle, age 50 of Georgetown, Ohio died Thursday, May 28, 2020 in Mt. Orab, Ohio. She was born March 1, 1970 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of Andrew and Pauline (Unger) Mingua. Debbie was a 1988 graduate of the Georgetown High School and currently worked part-time at Brown County Storage-U-Haul for Bill and Maggie Womacks where she enjoyed being at the office and greeting people and thought of Bill as the big brother she never had. She spent several years serving Brown County as a Deputy, Court Bailiff and her favorite position was Juvenile Probation Officer. Her desire was to make a change in their lives and her thought was if she could make a difference in just one child’s life then it would be worth it all.

Debbie is survived by daughter – Ashley Copas of Orlando, Florida; sister - Lora Garman and husband Patrick of Georgetown, Ohio; two sons - Charles Harbottle and wife Ashley of Ripley, Ohio and grandchildren - Arianna, Joseph and Haley Harbottle and Jackson Young; son - Bradley Harbottle and wife Samantha of Graton, Connecticut and granddaughters – Anastazia Harbottle and Oceana Haker; her parents – Andrew and Pauline Mingua of Georgetown, Ohio; two nephews – Alex and Dane Garman and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Life was a joy for Debbie, always smiling and desiring to have family gatherings. She attended church with her parents often, being followed by her favorite morning food, biscuits and sausage gravy. Sometimes extended family invited and sometimes friends, which gave her a chance for a gathering again. Along with birthday and any holiday event with Debbie loved photography and scrapbooking, especially when it consisted of her favorite subjects, her grandchildren. They were the joy of her life. Just the mention of them brought smiles to her beautiful face. Debbie was also a member of the Eagles and liked the thought of helping to make fundraiser money for needed causes.

Private services will be held Thursday, June 4, 2020 at the convenience of the family at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. Rev. Terry Fite will officiate. Interment will be in the Winchester Cemetery in Winchester, Ohio.
