Jesse Richard Millikan, age 88 of Fayetteville, Ohio died Thursday, August 10, 2023 at the Hospice of Hope Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville, Kentucky. He was a retired Quality Control Engineer for GE Aviation for 42 Years, a United States Korean War Marine veteran and a member of the Brown County Republican Club, Brown County Central Committee and DAV. Jesse was born July 26, 1935 in Norwood. Ohio the son of the late Jess Nathan and Erle Louise (Hatfield) Millikan. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister – Betty Brower.
Mr. Millikan is survived by his wife – Sue (Worthman) Millikan; five children – Cindy Millikan of Delaware, Ohio, Bryon Millikan and Daniel Millikan both of Loveland, Ohio, Thomas Millikan and wife Michelle of Encinitas, California and Terron Cruey and husband Harley of Owensville, Ohio; seven grandchildren – Elizabeth Millikan of Springboro, Ohio, Alana Millikan and Chase Millikan both of Encinitas, California, Cheyenne Clift of Batavia, Ohio, Perry Branham of San Antonio, Texas, Jake Cruey and Grace Cruey both of Owensville, Ohio; one great grandchild and special family friend – Casey Clift and wife Cassandra of Lynchburg, Ohio.
Following cremation, Celebration of Life Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 26, 2023 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt.Orab, Ohio with Military Services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. Chaplin Bill Graybill will officiate. There will be no visitation.
