John F. Miller

John Francis Miller, age 95 of Georgetown, Ohio and formerly of Delhi, Ohio died Sunday, January 2, 2022 at the Ohio Veterans Home in Georgetown, Ohio. He was a retired market researcher for Proctor and Gamble, a United States WWII Army veteran, a member of the St. George Catholic Church in Georgetown, Ohio and the Knights of Columbus and the President of the Residence Council at the Ohio Veterans Home. John was born September 9, 1926 in North Braddock, Pennsylvania the son of the late Robert and Ann (Keane) Miller. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Julia Ann (Krallman) in 2010 whom he married July 5, 1952 and one brother-in-law – Flynn Holderman.

Mr. Miller is survived by five children – Melanie Miller and husband Victor Jedlicka of Los Angeles, California, Linda Bickers and husband Michael of Macomb, Michigan, Susan Miller and husband John Darch of Waterloo, Ontario, David Miller and wife Danielle of Granbury, Texas and Michael Miller and wife Claire of Anderson Township, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren – Brian and wife Nicole, Lauren and husband Scott, Aaron, Ashley, Alex, Dawson, Daelyn, Jason, Julie and husband Patrick, Angela and husband Pat, Lucas, Zachary and Mackenzie; seven great grandchildren – Jackson, Logan, Aiden, Jayda, Ella, Westley and Fionn; one sister – Mary Margaret Holderman of Cleveland, Ohio and niece and nephew – Gretchen and Robert.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the St George Catholic Church, 509 East State Street, Georgetown, Ohio 45121 followed by military services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180 of Georgetown, Ohio.  Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Interment will be in the New St. Joseph Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ohio at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday.  The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.

The Miller family request that facial coverings or mask be required for all in attendance.
