Larry L. Winterod, Sr.

Larry L. Winterod, Sr., age 69 of West Union, Ohio died Thursday, December 27, 2018 at the Christ Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a graduate of Georgetown High School, had worked at Ellis & Watts in Batavia, Ohio and was a United States Marine Corps Vietnam War veteran. Larry was born January 23, 1949 in Hamersville, Ohio the son of the late Paul Thomas and Mary Helen (Scott) Winterod, Sr. . He was also preceded in death by two sisters – Carol Sue Fetters and Norma Jean Fetters and three brothers – Robert, Paul Thomas and Wesley Winterod.

Larry is survived by his wife of forty-seven years – Ada M. (Gallimore) Winterod whom he married December 11, 1971; three children – Larry L. Winterod, Jr. and wife Heather of West Union, Ohio, Sharon Linville and husband Wade of Ripley, Ohio and Tiffany Winterod of West Union, Ohio and seven grandchildren – Kayla and Christian Linville, Cassie, Tyler and Bryanna Winterod and Madison and Natalie Scott.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Cahall Funeral home in Georgetown, Ohio. Bill Graybill will officiate. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. Wednesday. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with veteran services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180.
