Michael Patrick Cook

Michael Patrick Cook, age 52 of Aberdeen, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at the Mercy Mt. Orab Medical Center in Mt. Orab, Ohio.  He was a United States Marine Corps Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm combat Veteran and a member of the DAV.  He was a security supervisor/officer at the Cincinnati Milacron plants in Mt. Orab and Afton, Ohio.  Mr. Cook was born March 31, 1967 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of the late Robert A. and Bonnie C. (Roberts) Cook.  He was also preceded in death by three siblings – Vicki Hornsby, Brad Bradford and Sonny Bradford.

Mr. Cook is survived by his wife of eighteen years – Rebecca Adkins Cook; eight children – Jimmy Dunn of Mebane, North Carolina, Kevin Dunn of Mebane, North Carolina, Samantha Bondurant of Charlotte, North Carolina, Michaela Cook of Boston, Massachusetts, Cameron Cook of Greenup, Kentucky, Connor Adkins of Ripley, Ohio, Katherine Smith of Ripley, Ohio and Ian Cook of Ripley, Ohio; three sisters – Carrolleen Putis of Kansas City, Missouri, Rene Long of Kansas City Missouri and CJ.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.  Pastor Jerry Hill will officiate.  Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday.  Inurnment will be in Hietts Chapel Cemetery near Ripley, Ohio.
