John Michael Donohoo, age 74 of Georgetown, Ohio died Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at the UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from Georgetown High School in 1967 and the University of Kentucky in 1971. Mike had a very successful career in Finance, primarily in the banking business with Provident, First State, Fifth Third and Centre Banks and was a member of the Georgetown Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed hunting and deep sea fishing with family in Ft. Myers, Florida. Mike was a lifelong University of Kentucky Wildcats fan who loved attending games at Rupp Arena. He happily shared his home with many dogs over the years. His border collie, Dexter was his constant companion. Mike was born January 26, 1949 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Dr. John R. and Betty Anna (Scott) Donohoo. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife – Melody Donohoo in 2006.
Mr. Donohoo is survived by one sister – Deb Durbin and husband Tom of Georgetown, Ohio; one brother – Dr. Jeff Donohoo and wife Carol of Georgetown, Ohio; four nieces and nephews – Jenny Connor and husband Bobby of Georgetown, Ohio, Brian Andriot and wife Jen of Cincinnati, Ohio, Sarah Donohoo of Ripley, Ohio and Casey Tucker and husband Jason of Milford, Ohio and nine great nieces and nephews – Kelsey Connor, Oliver, Chandler and Roxen Andriot, Jillian Coffey and husband Austin, Grayson Bradford, Anna Donohoo and Devin and August Tucker.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
