Mildred Boothby Obituary

Mildred Lee Boothby, age 82 of Mt. Orab, Ohio died Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at her grandson’s residence in Felicity, Ohio. She was an office secretary for Tresler Comet/Ashland Oil Company, a member of the Rocky Topper Camping Club of Brown County and the Wilson Sroufe VFW Post # 9772 Ladies Auxiliary. Mildred was born October 31, 1935 in Hamersville, Ohio the daughter of the late John Canter and Josie Bell (Smith) Canter. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband – David Lee Boothby in 2004; two sons – Michael and David Ray Boothby; one sister - Maxine Canter and four brothers – Charlie, Paul, Basil and John Canter.

Mrs. Boothby is survived by her son – Dennis Boothby of Mt. Orab, Ohio; two brothers – Jim and Ray Canter both of Hamersville, Ohio; two grandchildren – Joshua Boothby and wife Heather of Felicity, Ohio and David Boothby of Georgetown, Ohio and three great grandchildren – Adrianna, Michael and Zak Boothby all of Williamsburg, Ohio.

Following cremation, services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio is serving the family.
