Jack Russell Olson, Jr.

Jack Russell Olson, Jr., age 70 of Hamersville, Ohio died Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at the UC Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a retired welder, a member of the First Baptist Church in Fayetteville, Ohio and a United States Air Force Vietnam War veteran. He was born November 22, 1946 in Lima, Ohio the son of the late Jack Russell Olson, Sr. and Maura (McLaughlin) Olson. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his twin brother – James Michael Olson.

Mr. Olson is survived by his wife of 42 years – Karen (McCullough) Olson, two daughters – Rhonda Messer and husband Harold of Amelia, Ohio and Angela Adams and husband Ben of Amelia, Ohio; five grandchildren – Sydney, Brendan and Drew Messer and Connor and Sawyer Adams; one brother – Dennis Olson and wife Candy of Cincinnati, Ohio; one sister – Eileen Gill and husband Rich of Harrison, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Mt. Orab, Ohio. John Wright will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
