Roger B. Parker

Roger Burton Parker, age 56 of Georgetown, Ohio died Monday, January 25, 2016 at the Mt.Orab Medical Center in Mt.Orab, Ohio. He was a registered nurse, the former owner and operator of Parker’s Pizza in Georgetown, Ohio and a member of the F.O.E #2293 in Georgetown, Ohio. Roger was born January 14, 1960 in Burlington, Vermont the son of Gloria (Bullis) Parker of Georgetown, Ohio and the late Leland Parker. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by twin daughters – Misty and Mindy Lee Parker, grandparents – Albert and Pauline Bullis and Cyril and Modine Heaton, father-in-law – Amos Waits, Sr. and one niece – Riley Gross.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Parker is survived by his wife of thirty-six years – Robin (Waits) Parker, whom he married August 8, 1980; two brothers – Mike Bullis and wife Wanda of Georgetown, Ohio and Joe Parker and wife Penny of Williston, South Carolina; one sister – Paula Yazell and husband Kenny of Ripley, Ohio; mother-in-law – Eleanor Waits of Georgetown, Ohio; two brothers-in-law – Amos Waits, Jr. and Tim Waits both of Mt.Orab, Ohio and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio. Scott Hennig and David Bullis will officiate. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 28, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio.
