Steven Ray Stauder

Steven Ray Stauder, age 67 of Ripley, Ohio, died Saturday, July 30, 2016 at his residence.  He worked at Brown County Construction for twenty-one years and later worked for the Village of Ripley.  Mr. Stauder was born November 22, 1948 in Brown County, Ohio the son of the late John and Esta (Paul) Stauder.  He was also preceded in death by two sisters – Patricia Welch and Mary Caldwell; two brothers – Richard Stauder and Walter Dave Stauder.

Mr. Stauder is survived by his loving wife of forty-seven years – Raechel (Griffith) Stauder; one loving daughter – Stephanie McCray and husband Jeff of Rockwell, North Carolina; two grandchildren – Heather McCray (Jeffery Hanson) of Russellville, Ohio and Jacob McCray (Laura Helbling) of Georgetown, Ohio; one great-grandson – Camren McCray of Russellville, Ohio; three brothers – Tom Stauder of Maysville, Kentucky, Jerry Stauder of Ripley, Ohio and Terry Stauder (Maureen) of Maysville, Kentucky; four sisters – Millie Bockman (Carl) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jean McCleese of Michigan, Cathy Poole (Lowell) of Fayetteville, Ohio and Linda Richey of West Union, Ohio; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at Cahall Funeral Home in Ripley, Ohio.  Pastor Mike Starkey will officiate.  Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at the funeral home.  Interment will follow the funeral service in Decatur Cemetery in Decatur, Ohio.
