So deeply saddened to learn of Jay's passing. I have considered him a friend as well as a former employer and one of the kindest, most caring people I have ever been fortunate enough to know. My heart aches for his wife and daughters as well as for his work family he spent so many years with. He was "one of a kind" and will be missed by the many people whom lives he touched.

Just a note to Jay's family. I had the great honor of working with Jay, week after week as he was solicitor for so many of the Brown County Villages. He was such a sweet guy. Rarely lost his temper, he showed great restraint as he handled very difficult situations at solicitor. I admired his kind character. I will pray for his family. Martha Jacob

I have known Jay for many years. He has provided attorney services for my entire family. He has helped me often in legal situations and has often offered his help and advice at no charge. We often talked about our families and he was so proud of his daughters and his wife. I considered him a friend as well as my attorney. I will miss him and am saddened by his loss. I will keep you all in my prayers. I just recently lost my Dad so I know it is a difficult time for the family. You have my deepest sympathy!
