Very sorry to hear about June's passing. She came to our house to help when I was born. I have many fond memories of growing up in that neighborhood and she will be sadly missed.

June the greatest Mom anyone could have. She had all the qualities that made her generation the greatest. Always giving and thinking of others. Never met a stranger. Always enjoyed our long talks of the old days we had at the table. Heaven just got a little sweeter.

I shall dearly miss my Aunt June. She was the last of my father's (Joe Courts) siblings and the Rufus Courts immediate family. My visits with her in later years are irreplaceable. We would talk about the old family, my dad, reunions, and the changing world. She dearly loved family and kept our Courts family reunion together for many years. She never stopped "doing"--never. She was a kind and generous person and surely her spirit will live in us forever and is welcomed to great beyond.

Message from Rebekah A. Ficks-Smith and the late Joseph G. Smith and the Princeton Pike Church of God
November 23, 2016 8:15 PM

It is always very hard to let go of Grandmothers and elders that we are so close to too. My grandmother and step grandfather raised me because there was issues when I came into the world, I would not have traded it for nothing, because I have a lot of them in me. I was raised in a "Godly Home", and I am not ashamed to say without Jesus we have nothing. Exodus 15:2, Matthew 5:6, 19:26 and Phillipians 4:19. When I found out that you were not doing well I immediately called the church and you were put on that prayer group .

My grandmother passed on November 30, and went to heaven and she has been praising the lord 24/7 and she never stops.

Denise Liming Fite and Greg Fite and young ladies are very awesome and we are very close.

I would like to come and be there but my vehicle situation is not the best.

Your photo is very beautiful and princesses are always in the hand of Jesus no matter what. just remember dynamite comes in very small packages.

I ordered you a special gifts for you and your family, and it will take awhile to make them , but I know you will like them.

Love, Hugs, Prayers and Blessings Always in Jesus,

Rebekah A. Ficks - Smith
and the Late Joseph G. Smith and family on Rebekah 's side
