Regina H. (Helbling) Schmidt

Regina H. Schmidt, age 94 of Georgetown, Ohio died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at the Clermont Mercy Hospital in Batavia, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Arnheim and the Altar Sodality. Regina was born February 8, 1922 in Georgetown, Ohio the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Lang) Helbling. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband – Fred M. Schmidt in 1978.

Mrs. Schmidt is survived by one son – Allen Schmidt of Pinellas Park, Florida; three daughters – Janet Rockey and husband Stephen of Sardinia, Ohio, Sandy Schmidt of Cincinnati, Ohio and Monica Hauck and husband Lewis of Sardinia, Ohio; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and one sister – Virginia Matthews of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 22, 2016 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Arnheim, Ohio. Rev. Dohrman Byers will be the Celebrant. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. Friday, October 21, 2016 at the St. Mary Catholic Church Hall. Interment will be in the St. Mary Cemetery in Arnheim, Ohio. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
