I give my sympathy to the family during this tough time. I know the loss of a loved one is very hard to cope with. One thing that has helped me is a scripture found at 1 Corinthians 15:26. It is a very encouraging scripture for a time like this. I hope it helps you all as well.

I worked with Susan over 20 years at OVM and she was the most gentle, kind and sweet person I've worked with. She taught me in a computer class at OVM, and if you had any computer problems she was always happy to help you. If you needed a pencil with an added eraser to use on the Kiosk, she had those too and always greeted you with a smile when you walked into her office. I miss seeing her on a daily basis walk to the ice machine on our unit because we have the best ice and it was her favorite, always greeting us girls with a smile and a hello. So many little things mean so much in our lives and make a huge impact. I have been blessed to have known Susan. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Praying God will give you strength and comfort at this most difficult time.

Susan had recently connected with my sister Amy on Facebook, letting her know that we were related. We had all hoped that she would come to our Dad's birthday a couple of months ago, but she was unable to make it. We're all sad to hear about her passing and wished we had been able to meet her. So sorry for the family's loss.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is one of the hardest things that we ever have to deal with. God never intended for humans to have to suffer and die. However, because of Adam and Eve's sin we have to deal with these things. God gives us the only hope for a future. At John 5:28,29 Jehovah God promises that "the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out." What a wonderful time that will be when we can welcome our loved ones back to life again. I hope that you find some comfort in this during this difficult time. Please know that your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sending lots of prayers for comfort. I worked with Susan for 20 years at the Manor and I had to leave due to back problems. She was always full of joy and very smart.
